Painting not painting

Continuing on my quest to practice my rusty landscapes,
I started another one.
I chose a field system above Malham,
to make me concentrate
on stone walls and grasses
However, after a rather damp and dreary autumn,
the summerhouse developed rather wet corner.
So, after a quick shuffle of the desk and workbench
and an intense investigation to find the offending weak point,
all potential rain ingress has been halted!

But painting tomorrow might be at home rather than in the studio.

Hope your Monday
is a little less damp that mine!!

Kingfisher

I am fed up with this bleugh weather!
C'mon! Where IS the SUN?!

Any hoo - on a different note, I am still getting on with my latest commission :)

And talking of commissions,
there is still just time to order a bespoke
commissioned piece of art
for that 'hard to buy for person' in your life :)

A little music goes a long way

Started this stag Friday afternoon,
another card design.
 At this point,
although happy with the painting,
I was not happy with how it appeared .....
something was missing.
So, I added a little music,
And now I (and the stag)
are really happy :)

Going a little (happily) nuts

From the windows of my studio,
I overlook a bird table.

I keep a list of the birds that visit
and they tend to be the normal garden birds
(not that I am complaining!)
However, when a nuthatch
graced my garden
I did a little dance of joy
Which, of course made it fly off.
Silly me.
Any hoo, the temptation of food
made it return,
and return and return and return.

Often enough to take photos
and
for me to paint.
Happy happy x

Just need finish it,
get it mounted,
then it is ready for it's forever home :)
