Continuing with the marathon adding of images - this post = some art work from June

Most of these are from my daily sketch challenge

Going a little (happily) nuts

From the windows of my studio,

I overlook a bird table.

I keep a list of the birds that visit 

and they tend to be the normal garden birds

(not that I am complaining!)

However, when a nuthatch

graced my garden

I did a little dance of joy

Which, of course made it fly off.

Silly me.

Any hoo, the temptation of food

made it return,

and return and return and return.

Often enough to take photos

and

for me to paint. 

Happy happy x 

Just need finish it,

get it mounted,

then it is ready for it's forever home :)

Procrastination (with coffee)

While the rain lashes down outside,

while I drink coffee and listen to the radio,

I watch a soggy starling trying to build its nest.

Best get on, must finish this lot before sending off to become cards :)

Things are not always black and white ...

Playing around with another card design,

wondering if Brock is just sniffing the air,

or

sniffing bracken.

There is still time decide, 

Brock needs a bit more work,

then he'll let me know.

Finally a gap in the commissions,

time to continue with the card designs.

Need to do more,

so best 'get to it'!

 But first....

Put the kettle on,

I need a mug of tea :)

I need to see the sea

Over the weekend, I fancied returning to watercolours,

to see if I can still paint,

I need practice...

much more practice!
